ABOUT

Dominique Wilmore's roots are firmly embedded in visual arts, communications design, and architecture. As a young adult, she studied various forms of art in secondary school including painting, printmaking, sculpture, and graphic design. Dominique received her Bachelor of Architecture from Hampton University and her professional career in architecture began as a designer for various award-winning architectural firms in southern Virginia and North Carolina. During this time, she was exposed to the different aspects of architecture that make a successful practice. With over a decade of professional experience, Dominique’s expertise includes architectural design and construction documentation; graphic design and visual communication; construction coordination and administration; and the marketing and business development of A/E/C services. Dominique currently resides in Maryland and works as a Facilities Architect for the federal government.

As a LEED Green Associate, Dominique, has completed NCARB's Architectural Experience Program (AXP) and is in the process of taking the Architectural Registration Exam (ARE). In her spare time, she is currently working on a number of artistic pursuits, most notably, her short film series, beautifulVILLAIN, which has been screened at various film festivals across the United States.
